Department of Forensic Medicine

Department of Forensic Medicine is involved in teaching and training Forensic Science The department has good infrastructure, in terms of building, laboratory, museum, library and teaching aids. Forensic Medicine department has extensive number of models, X-Rays, photographs and weapons in excellent Museum. The department is involved with forensic research in the field of forensic anthropology.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE: Museum having lots of articles on display like poisons, weapons, models, charts, photographs. A well equipped laboratory, demonstration rooms and departmental library etc.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: A retrospective study of patterns of incidence of Road Traffic Accidents in Ujjain, Profile of cannabis abuse: Ujjain Context, An epidemiological study of the pattern of crime in Ujjain District, Profile of deaths in a tertiary care hospital: Ujjain experience.
